In this exciting session, you’ll learn the ropes of workshop safety while mastering the essential skills of the trade: from carefully sawing your pieces to size and sanding them for a smooth finish, to the satisfying art of gluing and hammering nails for a sturdy build. Whether you’re working solo or with a teammate, you’ll gain the confidence to use real tools and walk away with a functional, handcrafted project you can be proud of! INCLUSIONS: Materials required, access to tools and consumables (sandpaper, glue, etc) PRE-REQUIREMENTS: both hands physically abled AGE LIMIT: 8-14 years old REMINDERS: Please trim nails and tie hair + wear clothing without dangling accessories that might get snagged. Ready to bring your ideas into the third dimension without the headache of complex software? Our 2-hour workshop is the perfect starting point for participants who are curious about 3D modeling for practical or decorative use but feel intimidated by programs like Fusion360 or Blender. We will dive into the very basics of Tinkercad, a user-friendly platform, where you’ll quickly grasp the fundamentals of "solid modeling" and boolean meshing by manipulating simple shapes. By the end of this session, you’ll be comfortable with the software’s interface and equipped with the confidence and skills to start creating your own custom items or modify existing 3D models to perfectly suit your needs. INCLUSIONS: 3D printed phone stand (within pre-set maximum dimensions) PRE-REQUIREMENTS: Please bring a laptop/tablet and sign up for a Tinkercad account in advance. Mouse/stylus optional but highly recommended. AGE LIMIT: at least 15 years old REMINDERS: Please ensure your laptop/tablet can stay on for the duration of the workshop, you may bring a charger, and that any OS updates will not impede your workshop experience. Join our intensive 2-hour ceramics session, perfect for hobbyists, clay enthusiasts, and art students who want to experience the magic of the potter's wheel. In this hands-on workshop, you will learn the fundamental techniques of the wheel, focusing on how to transform a simple lump of clay into your very own custom-designed bowl. By the time the session is over, you will have a finished, wheel-thrown piece and a clear understanding of the entire ceramic process, from the first spin to the final firing. WHAT TO EXPECT: • Learn beginner-friendly pottery techniques • Personalize your very own hand-made mug • Leave your piece with us for bisque and glaze firing • Your work will be ready within 2 months INCLUSIONS: • 1kg stoneware clay • Use of pottery tools • Set of underglaze (paint for ceramics) • Bisque and glaze firing of 1 piece Pre-requirements: no prior experience needed Age limit: at least age 10 or older Reminders: make sure to have short nails; wear clothes you don’t mind getting dirty Claiming procedure: Participants will be messaged when their items are ready for pick up. Each item will be packed in a small box. For participants who prefer courier service, there will be a P280 peso fee for delivery.
