Ready to bring your ideas into the third dimension without the headache of complex software? Our 2-hour workshop is the perfect starting point for participants who are curious about 3D modeling for practical or decorative use but feel intimidated by programs like Fusion360 or Blender. We will dive into the very basics of Tinkercad, a user-friendly platform, where you’ll quickly grasp the fundamentals of "solid modeling" and boolean meshing by manipulating simple shapes. By the end of this session, you’ll be comfortable with the software’s interface and equipped with the confidence and skills to start creating your own custom items or modify existing 3D models to perfectly suit your needs. INCLUSIONS: 3D printed phone stand (within pre-set maximum dimensions) PRE-REQUIREMENTS: Please bring a laptop/tablet and sign up for a Tinkercad account in advance. Mouse/stylus optional but highly recommended. AGE LIMIT: at least 15 years old REMINDERS: Please ensure your laptop/tablet can stay on for the duration of the workshop, you may bring a charger, and that any OS updates will not impede your workshop experience. WARNINGS: Not for getting into 3D sculpting or highly mechanical/technical designs

Can we reschedule if we miss the workshop? Slots for our workshops are non-refundable but transferable. You may give your slot to family or friends. In the event of non-attendance, your slots will be considered used and forfeited. Workshop fees cover space, manpower, and resources needed for preparation and execution. Thank you for your understanding and for helping us keep this practice sustainable.
